Ski SlopesSuomutunturi’s 13 various slopes offer a challenge equally to experts and to beginners. The greatest height difference of Suomu fell is 240 metres. The longest slope is 1700m.
Northern side of Suomu draws experienced downhill skiers to black and red runs. Good profile and quality of the slopes offer an enjoyable challenge throughout the whole run. The fact that national alpine skiing and freestyle teams are practising in Suomu Ski resort speaks something of our slopes.
Northern side challenges snowboarders and telemarkers by jumps, boxes, rails and hillocks.
Front slopes and eastern side of the ski centre where skiing is pleasant due to pine forest protecting from the wind are suitable for beginners and leisurely skiers. At base of the slope near the lingonberry path you will find a cosy sheltered tepee for roasting sausages and having a rest after active skiing.
For kids there is Children’s world, a safe fenced snow park for the youngest family members learning to ski and having fun in the snow.
