Media Center

The Media Center is located at the Hotel Hullu Poro (address: Rakkavaarantie 5, 99130 Levi).

Opening hours will be updated later.

Coffee, refreshments, and sandwiches are served free of charge at the Media Café during the Media Center's opening hours.

Media Lounge and Gondola Media Center

The Media Lounge and Gondola Media Center are located on the ground floor of the Carlsberg building in the race area. The Media Lounge offers indoor premises for following the competitions via TV. There is also food, drinks, and coffee available.

Transportation

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be media shuttle transportation between media hotels, the Media Center and the race area from 7.30 am to 5 pm (a shuttle leaves every 20 minutes). Media representatives can use shuttle transportation by showing their ID-card.

Results, news, start lists, and other official information are published on the competition’s web page at www.worldcuplevi.com. Prints are available at the Media Center and the Gondola Press Center.

Accreditation

All media representatives, competitors, and officials must be accredited. To be accredited, the organizers must have received in advance the required information on the person wishing to be accredited. The accreditation office checks the required information.

Accreditation provides a photo ID-card for all participants to make it easier for them to move around the Sports Center area, and to avoid disturbing them unnecessarily during the competition. Accreditation is handled by Plaras Advanced Accreditation Systems.

Photo areas

Areas for photographers are signed with number 8.

Mixed zone areas

The common mixed zones will be serving all media. A special camera sticker by Infront is required to get into Dedicated Mixed zone and the Eng Mixed zone (DEDICATED and ENG). Interviews are allowed only in these areas and at the Media Center.

Commentary Booths

Commentary booths are reserved for the companies with live publishing rights. Commentating is forbidden outside the commentary booths. There are result monitors and ADSL-lines in the commentary booths.

TV areas

Technicians of MTV3 Finland will assist radio and TV representatives in TV areas.

Flower and Award Ceremonies

Flower ceremonies and men's award ceremony will take place immediately after the races in the finish area. Photographers are allowed to go behind the host broadcaster MTV3’s camera positions in the finish area before the flower ceremonies start (security persons will assist). Ladies' award ceremony will be held at Levi Center prior to men's public draw on Saturday evening at 7 p.m.

Winners' Press Conferences

Winners' interviews will take place at the Gondola Hall (at the Gondola lift's bottom station, enter through the Team Hospitality door) 20 minutes after each flower ceremony. The top three skiers of each competition will be invited to the press conference. Chief of Media Jussi Väätäinen and FIS Media Coordinators are in charge of the interviews.

Parking

Media parking area is located in the race area next to Carlsberg building (blue zone for media). Parking permits are delivered from the accreditation office (Hotel Hullu Poro) according to online reservations (via accreditation form). Note that there is only a limited amount of media parking permits.
